Clubbers’ agency folds
A travel agency with four branches in Surrey, which also operated under trading names such as Ministry of Sound Holidays and Clubber’s Guide, has collapsed.
ABTA said that Surbiton-based Avant Garde Travel was unable to meet its liabilities and ceased trading last week.
Besides Surbiton, the independent company had branches in Weybridge, Esher and Cobham.
Avant Garde also used trading names Ministry of Sound Holidays, Clubber’s Guide, Ibiza Trips, Explorer Travel, Trips, Ibiza Trips, Italian Treasures, Mountain Wild, MV Golf, Ski World and The Trips, according to ABTA.
“ABTA believes that all bookings were done on a retail basis and claims will be handled by CEGA, ABTA’s claims handling partner,” a statement said.
