CMV round-the-world booking proves fam trips pay off
Travel agent Ian Donaldson proved fam trips do pay off after he secured a £30,000 round-the-world cruise on a ship he’d just travelled on.
Ian, of Ramsay World Travel in Lochee, recently joined a fam trip with CMV on board latest ship Colombus, then came back and sold a world itinerary on the same ship.
CMV business development manager Karen Delorme, pictured with Ian, said: "This just goes to show how important training and familiarisation is of the product an agent sells.
"Ian has also gone on to secure other good bookings aboard Columbus."
CMV has recently announced opportunities in 2018 to visit a number of CMV ships whilst in port around the UK, including a number in Scotland.
The operator is aiming to attract more than 1000 trade partners to have a look around on board to see the ship facilities including cabins and sample a lunch.
