Coming soon: Gordon Ramsay at the Crown Metropol
MELBOURNE – TravelMole has been given a sneak peek at the new Crown Metropol, due to open in the next few weeks.
The $300 million, 658-room Melbourne five-star property will complement Crown’s flagship hotel, Crown Towers, and the four-star Crown Promenade.
The properties are each linked with the Crown casino and entertainment areas.
The hotel will include Gordon Ramsay’s first Australian maze restaurant. Ramsay will also be responsible for the hotel’s room service menu.
Included in the Metropol’s room inventory are 34 studios, 12 spa accommodation rooms and 32 suites.
The hotel has a day spa on the 27th floor and a club lounge on the 28th floor. There are no clubrooms, rather guests pay a daily premium to access the lounge for breakfast, pre-dinner drinks and private spaces.
Crown Metropol is offering an introductory room rate in May for $249 for a standard room.
