Coming to a site near you: A new hotel

Brady Hotels will officially open in Melbourne on October 1.

Developers Brady Group will retain full ownership and management of the hotel, and plans to roll out further accommodation under the four-star brand.

"We’ve poured our heart and soul into this property," said William Lee, general manager of Brady Hotels.

Brady Hotels is a 16-floor property in Little Latrobe Street with 146 rooms, including executive, two-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom penthouse apartments, 84 standard and executive rooms and 56 studios.

Brady Hotels will be bookable on the GDS.

In other hotel development news, Singapore-based SilverNeedle Hospitality is expanding its management portfolio by adding a Sage Hotel, this one in Perth, scheduled to open in 2016.

SilverNeedle recently announced the launch of the Sage Hotel brand in Brisbane.

Also in Brisbane, IHG and international investment group, Pro-Invest have signed a franchise agreement for a 226-room Holiday Inn Express hotel in Spring Hill.

This is the second site in the portfolio of 15 Holiday Inn Express hotels Pro Invest is developing under a $150 million fund.

The first hotel will open at Macquarie Park in North Ryde, Sydney next year.
