Company collapses in 40th anniversary year
Another ABTA member has failed.
London-based R H Travel, which also traded as Golden Wings Tours, ceased trading after being unable to meet its liabilities.
The company, which was celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, specialised in long haul travel and also had a corporate travel division.
Its website says it has been selling flights to Australia and New Zealand since 1965.
Most of the firm’s turnover is licensable with claims handled by the CAA. Claims arising form its retail business will be dealt with by ABTA’s claims department.
