Comparison site includes peer reviews
A new travel comparison site has been launched that publishes user reviews to guide people towards a provider that suits their needs.
GoSimply.com offers car hire, airport parking, hotels and lounge booking but helps users decide which to pick by offering both good and bad feedback from previous customers. And in a nod to the current choppy economic climate, it also gives price saving tips.
The site is a conglomeration of four existing websites, simply-hotels.co.uk, simplyparking.co.uk, simplylounges.co.uk and simply-car-hire.co.uk. There are plans to extend the portfolio further to include flights, theatre breaks and theme park breaks.
Managing director Tim Hagger said: “Gosimply.com is not just another comparison site. The key difference is that we offer guidance as well as the best choice. Gosimply.com does not leave the customer to search through a database or online brochure of information nor does it just list 100s of prices linking to different sites. Our information is organised and rated according to product services and customer need alongside a wealth of honest reviews that are shown whether good and bad.â€
The site claims it is aiming to help customers get a “quicker, no nonsense experience†and it offers an “at a glance†page with Google maps to help identify which products suit best before further investigation.
Added Hagger: “We’ve developed gosimply.com to do the hard work so the customer doesn’t have to. Our ‘gosimply’ rating offers an accurate overview of a products benefits and pitfalls allowing customers to quickly compare and decide which product is suitable for them without the need to scroll through pages of information. We also compare credit card charges that are nearly always overlooked or hidden in some manner. To us it’s just common sense.â€
