Comtec enhances agent dynamic packaging service
An enhanced version of a travel agent dynamic packaging service is to be unveiled by Comtec at World Travel Market next week.
The release of EasySell DP will enable agents to create dynamic packages, or component build holidays, in real-time, sourcing components from low-cost and charter airlines, along with accommodation bedbanks, according to the software supplier.
EasySell also provides agents with access to viewdata and package holiday suppliers via a single web-based application.
The new version of EasySell DP additionally includes a “supplier configuration module”, enabling agents to protect business profits through an in-built margin management tool.
Comtec sales director Howard Frost said: “With this release, EasySell now uses the same dynamic packaging engine that we deliver to tour operators via our Travelink system.
“This release is therefore another example of how Comtec is leveraging its complete technology suite to provide powerful, integrated, solutions to the leisure travel sector.
“This is an ongoing process and we’re looking forward to releasing further enhancements to our travel agency selling systems during the coming months.”
