Concur Expense Solution adds new service
Concur Technologies Inc. and Runzheimer International have formed a partnership the two companies say will deliver relevant and reliable benchmarking information to travel managers within the Concur Expense solution.
“This will benefit any company that has a significant travel budget. It’s an expense management system that companies can use as benchmarks depending on what they buy and on the location,” said Fred Ingham, vice president of product management, Concur Technologies.
Concur is a provider of corporate expense management systems. Runzheimer International is a consulting firm specializing in travel program, policy and cost benchmarking information.
The new product called Concur Benchmarking Service is said to be the first to integrate benchmarking into an automated corporate expense management system.
It gives managers and administrators instant access to current travel pricing benchmarks that they can use to more effectively establish and enforce policies for all facets of travel spending, according to Mr Ingham.
“Not only does this service provide customers with the most reliable benchmarking information, but it does so within the framework of an expenses management system,” said Rex Runzheimer, president of Runzheimer International.
He added that companies can save money by directly influencing employee spending practices and improving management control.
