Corporate and luxury travel specialist bought by EFR Travel

Hertfordshire-based corporate, golf and leisure specialist EFR Travel Group has acquired Manchester-based corporate and luxury specialist CSR Travel.

EFR is a member of the Advantage Focus Partnership, the Guild of Travel Management Companies and the WIN Global Partnership, in addition to being a founder member of Virtuoso, EMEA.

CSR managing director Gary Shaw will remain with the business and continue to play an integral role in the further development of the company, it said.

EFR CEO Edward Rom said: "We are delighted to acquire CSR Travel, which is a highly respected travel company in the north of England.

"We see great opportunities for further growth and synergies and we are very pleased that Gary Shaw will continue as managing director to lead the team."
