Corporate retreat at Sofitel Brisbane
The five star battle for the corporate dollar among Brisbane’s leading hotels has entered another phase with the opening of Sofitel Brisbane’s $2 million Club Sofitel Lounge.
Highlighting the changes in priority for corporate travelers demanding the best in business services over and above haute cuisine, Club Sofitel Lounge has been created in what was the hotel’s 30th-floor restaurant, Denison’s, the city’s signature fine-dining restaurant in the Eighties.
Boasting skyline views over Brisbane, this luxury oasis for both corporate and leisure guests provides an exclusive environment in which to work, entertain or relax.
Business travelers are an essential element of any hotel’s clientele and as the pace of doing business has quickened and the pressures created by modern communications technology increased, so have the needs and demands of these guests.
Sofitel Brisbane meets this challenge and satisfies these demands with the opening of Club Sofitel Lounge.
Boasting an elegant, contemporary décor, the lounge provides a full range of facilities and services. On weekdays and evenings the lounge provides an unprecedented corporate environment for business executives, but by weekend the evening lighting levels will be muted to ensure that the city night lights are seen to their best effect so that the lounge becomes an intimate and private domain for couples.
Facilities include a recreation room with the latest electronic games and DVD films; workstations with state-of-the-art wireless technology, a lounge with large plasma TVs; toilets and showers, a one-stop concierge service for restaurant reservations, tourist information; two buffet areas and a private dining room.
Club Sofitel guests will be able to enjoy all-day refreshments and evening canapés and drinks with food and beverage offerings, taking executive lounge dining to a new level, thanks to the input of celebrated Star Chef Marshall Orton.
Further enhancing the offering to guests is Sofitel’s exclusive MyBed which ushers in a whole new concept in rest with a guarantee of plush softness that provides a business traveller with the most essential aspect of a hotel stay – a good night’s sleep.
