Cosmos launches Exceptional European Touring
Cosmos says that your cleints can “Escape to Europe” from just $85 a day and enjoy the magic of touring the continent’s must-see destinations with an expert guide, as well as plenty of time to explore on their own.
Cosmos National Marketing Manager Fiona Watson said the 2007 Cosmos Europe brochure featured a range of tours offering exceptional value for money, adding, “The average cost per day touring Europe with Cosmos – including hotel, breakfast, sightseeing and tour director – is up to 30 % less than if travellers booked just the hotel on their own”.
“Combine this with the hassle-free pace of touring, where all the essentials are taken care of, plus itineraries featuring up to 40 per cent free time and clients can understand why so many people love to see Europe with Cosmos.”
The extensive 2007 European brochure offers a huge range of tours to the United Kingdom, central Europe, eastern Europe, Scandinavia and Egypt. Prices start from $85 per day for the 13-day “Leisurely Tour of Turkey” visiting Istanbul, legendary Gallipoli and fascinating Cappadocia.*
Cosmos has also added six new itineraries to the program this year including:
“Scenic Switzerland by Train” – a nine-day tour travelling via the Glacier Express and Bernina Express through the Swiss Alps and leading cities, priced from $1968 per person, twin share;
“Six Countries, Venice and Paris” – an eight-day tour taking in France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Germany and Belgium, priced from $1131 per person, twin share;
“Imperial Jewels” – an eight-day itinerary visiting the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary, priced from $1131 per person, twin share;
“Rome, Sorrento and Capri” – a nine-day tour taking in the stunning Amalfi Coast and surrounds;
“Southern Italy and Sicily” – a 16-day itinerary departing Rome and traversing the beautiful southern coastline, priced from $2128 per person, twin share; and
“Cairo, Alexandria and Nile Delta” – an eight-day tour, which can also be combined with a four-day Nile cruise to Aswan, priced from $1071 per person, twin share.
Many tours also feature special inclusions such as entry to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo on select United Kingdom tours.
Ms Watson says that Cosmos European itineraries offered everything from 27-day multi-country panoramas to short regional discovery tours, adding “Our regional discovery tours are especially popular and focus on one specific country or region, offering an in-depth experience so guests can immerse themselves in a culture, while Cosmos’ European Panoramas are the best way to enjoy an overview of the continent”.
Cosmos has been operating guided tours for more than 40 years and offers the best accommodation at quality hotels, comfortable transportation on modern coaches, sightseeing with expert local tour guides and selection of meals, all included in a great value fare.
Travellers who book their Cosmos Europe 2007 tour in conjunction with a Cosmos airfare before December 31, 2006, will receive an earlybird bonus of free SafetyNet Travel Protection valued at $150 per couple.
