Cosmos pledges to improve website at next upgrade
Cosmos has promised to make changes to its website during its next upgrade in response to agent feedback.
The operator admitted the ‘technical issues’ which had occurred in early 2015 had recurred over the past two weeks but assured agents that they had been dealt with in the last 24 hours.
Cosmos added that following agent feedback, it planned to make changes to the ‘user experience’ of the website during its next upgrade.
Frustrated agents took to social media last week in desperation, complaining that the drop down menus didn’t work properly and there was no general search facility for late bookings.
A Cosmos spokeswoman said: "To provide any necessary assistance in making bookings, we are extending our contact centre hours from 9am to 9pm, Monday to Friday and weekend hours are 9am to 6pm.
"We were aware that agents had been commenting on social media and we posted to the site on Friday emphasising that we aren’t able to offer support with issues raised on the site as we are aren’t able to easily identify the agents, nor are we able to offer bespoke advice relating to their bookings.
"We are really keen to work directly with agents to resolve any issues they may be having, and we would ask that they approach us directly so that we can work quickly to help them and resolve issues."
