Cresta and Tradewinds launch programme from Cardiff Airport
Cresta and Tradewinds have teamed up with Cardiff International Airport to create a new Fly From Cardiff brochure.
The tour operators say the launch follows the success of their existing Fly From Bristol programme.
Valid until December 2008, the Cardiff brochure features 48 short and long-haul destinations, from the Mediterranean to Malaysia, and including city breaks, beach resorts, Disneyland Resort Paris, with a choice of scheduled or no-frills flights available.
Cresta product development manager Ian Lomas explained: “This new brochure forms part of our ongoing strategy to promote regionalised departure packages for both short and long-haul destinations.
“Cardiff International carries over 2 million scheduled passengers every year and with 4.5 million people within a 90 minute drive, it offers many potential customers a more convenient alternative to the London airports.”
Jon Horne, managing director of Cardiff International Airport added: “Our recent consumer research showed many people in Wales and the West do not know the full extent of Cardiff’s network.
“This new Cresta/Tradewinds brochure is the most extensive collection of our destinations, gathered in one place to make it much easier for people to see where they can go from their local airport.”
