Crowne Plaza Coogee to undergo a multi million dollar refurb
The Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach Hotel is undergo a multi million dollar rooms redesign claimed to be offering leisure travellers the most up to date rooms in Sydney, with the project due to be completed by September 2007.
With 209 rooms undergoing a total redesign, the hotel has committed to ensure complete guest satisfaction and comfort with minimum disruption during the redevelopment by blocking off floors above and below, acting as a buffer between those being worked on.
Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the hotel captures the relaxed energy of Coogee whilst offering leisure travellers the perfect haven by the beach.
All rooms will be fitted with the latest LCD 32 inch plasma televisions with swivel mount, allowing guests to manoeuvre to their specific requirement.
Clever interior design with attention to detail ensured a clean line when entering the room maximising views and sense of uncluttered space. Each design element was carefully chosen to enhance the beach and the magnificent landscape.

With a number of dining options, guests don’t have to leave the hotel to enjoy an exquisite meal, with Promenade continung to offer its famous seafood buffet on the weekends, or rub shoulders with the local crowd at Cushion and maybe spot a celebrity as you sip cocktails and enjoy specially designed casual dining from the menu including the locally renowned wood fired pizzas or a selection from the tapas menu.
The location opposite the ocean ensures guests feel relaxed as soon as they arrive and from beach activities to the famous eastern suburbs coastal walks, the area provides a playground for all age groups, couples or those with families.
Coogee has a fantastic local village vibe yet is only 10 minutes from major sporting and shopping facilities, not to mention quick and easy access to the airport, city and major transportation hubs.
Most rooms also have their own balconies for guests to enjoy the ocean breeze and views with the latest design in balcony furniture, chosen for complete comfort and style.
