Cruise line offers array of wine experts
Silversea Cruises for the first time is adding award-winning authors to its lineup of wine experts, winemakers and top chefs.
The cruise line announced 15 culinary arts cruises and 12 in a wine series for next year.
Silversea says this is its biggest program ever.
New authors include William Rice, who writes about food and wine, and Eunice Fried, who is the author of the book “Burgundy: The Country, The Wines, The People.”
Chefs include Raymond Blanc, the Michelin two-star chef/owner of Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons.
“Our smaller, more intimate ships provide the perfect atmosphere for enriching learning experiences that appeal to our guests/ sense of discovery and interest in fine food and wine,” said David Morris, Silversea’s senior vice president.
