Cruise ship performer attacked on stage
A cruise ship magician has spoken out after he was attacked on stage during a sailing.
A video shows the cruise ship assault by a guest.
Magician Ben Murphy was in the middle of his act with a female guest on stage when he was assaulted.
It is thought to have been the woman’s jealous spouse.
Murphy said he was pushed over and punched, and suffered bruising.
It happened aboard Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas, which was sailing off the Queensland coast.
The footage on TikTok and gained millions of views.
“This guest should not have been allowed to enjoy the rest of his cruise,” Murphy said in a follow up post.
He said he got no support from the cruise line and once on dry land filed a police report.
“We are aware of the incident. Our investigation into this incident is ongoing,” the line said.
