Cruises disrupted by strikes in Norway
Cruise itineraries are being disrupted due to strike action by drivers of pilot boats in Norway.
Several cruise lines have been forced to change their ports of call after being turned away from Norwegian ports.
P&O Cruises’ Arcadia has cancelled a call in Stavanger today (Friday) and will instead call at Zeebrugge tomorrow.
Royal Caribbean International, Star Clippers and Holland America Line have also had to change their itineraries.
Only ships that are subject to compulsory pilotage have been affected.
The drivers of the pilot boats have walked out over a pay row.
