Cruising the World Made Easy in 2007-08

Australians will find it easy to set sail on the seven seas in 2007-08, with three of the world’s leading cruise lines combining their offerings in a new ‘Worldwide Cruising’ brochure.

The program features three superb cruise brands – Cunard Line, Princess Cruises and P&O World Voyages – all represented by Carnival Australia.

The new ‘Worldwide Cruising’ brochure details more than 94 cruises ranging from seven to 101 nights, visiting destinations including Alaska, the United States, Europe, the South Pacific and New Zealand between April 2007 and 2008.

Cunard Line’s giant Queen Mary 2 and the legendary Queen Elizabeth 2 are two of the nine stylish cruise liners taking part, as well as P&O Cruises UK’s superliners Aurora and Oriana, Princess Cruises’ massive Sapphire Princess and Diamond Princess, the new Emerald Princess and the boutique Tahitian Princess. Also included are cruises on the largest superliner to be based in Australia, Sun Princess.

All cruise fares have been combined with special airfares to make the decision to snap up a cruise holiday and explore the world even easier.

Fly/cruise options from Sydney highlighted in the new ‘Worldwide Cruising’ brochure include:

A$9199* per person to fly to Los Angeles and join Cunard’s newest liner, Queen Victoria, on her history-making 24-night voyage to Sydney departing January 30.

A$5479* per person for a seven-night cruise on Diamond Princess followed by a four-night Alaskan rail tour and return flights, departing May 12, 2008.

A$2829* per person for an indulgent 12-night cruise on Sapphire Princess that combines visits to Australia’s southern capitals and New Zealand’s North and South islands with a return flight, departing Sydney on January 9, 2008. Fares from Brisbane and Melbourne start from A$2949*, ex Adelaide A$3159* and ex Perth $3339*.

A$6009* per person for a 12-night voyage on the new Emerald Princess through the Mediterranean from stunning Venice in Italy to Spain’s cosmopolitan Barcelona including return flights, departing Sydney on September 26, 2007. Fares from Brisbane start from A$6149*, ex Melbourne A$5989*, ex Adelaide A$6099* and ex Perth A$5979*.

A$11,320* per person to fly to Southampton and cruise back to Sydney for 37 nights on the classic Aurora with a bonus onboard credit of £125 per person, departing January 7, 2008.

A$1985* per person for eight nights aboard the new Sun Princess cruising south from Sydney to Melbourne and Tasmania departing February 2, 2008.
