Crystal expands its theme cruise programme
Crystal Cruises is expanding its 2014 Experiences of Discovery theme cruise programme with six new themes.
23 Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity will feature the theme-focused programmes with activities, presentations, expert instruction and shore adventures, where available.
The new themes are:
- Extreme Thrill Seekers: with expert shark divers, underwater photographers and treasure hunters
- Explorations in Elegance: with auction house experts on jewels, wines and international property
- Gladiators & Empires: Roman Empire and its influence on art, religion, law, war, social structure, science and architecture
- Up Close & Magical: An expansion of Crystal’s entertainment programme, Magic Castle at Sea
- Maritime: Past, Present & Future: experts and historians offer unique perspectives
- Wine & Food: Microbrews: with experts, tastings and cuisine pairing
The cruise line will also see the return of previous themes including Mind and Body.
Philip Ordever, Crystal’s vice president of International sales & marketing: "The topics may be varied, but all themes satisfy the same intellectual curiosity and refined aesthetics that distinguish our typical Crystal cruiser."
