Crystal jazzes up cruise to Mexico
More than 24 jazz musicians will play on board a special voyage run by Crystal Cruises this autumn.
Crystal Symphony will depart from Los Angeles on November 30 on a seven-night jazz voyage to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Performers will include Grammy Award-winning instrumentalist Bob Wilbur; saxophonist Harry Allen who has performed with Rosemary Clooney, Tony Bennett and James Taylor; vocalist and award-winning bass player Nicki Parrott and pianist Johnny Varro.
Also scheduled is guest lecturer Loren Schoenberg, a fixture in the jazz world for his encyclopaedic knowledge of jazz and author of The NPR Curious Listeners Guide to Jazz.
Prices start at £2,375 per person including return flights, transfers, seven nights in a deluxe cabin with picture window with all meals and soft drinks, port taxes and basic gratuities.
