Cyprus to run agent roadshows
The Cyprus Tourism Organisation is taking to the road this autumn in a bid to boost the destination’s profile among travel agents.
CTO is offering agents the chance to sample local cuisine and entertainment as well as meet 22 hotels and airlines that serve the destination.
The road show starts in Manchester on September 27, then moves to Birmingham on September 28, St Albans on September 29 and finally London Gatwick on September 30.
CTO says agents are a key distribution channel for selling holidays to Cyprus and informing customers about the destination. It hopes to appeal to families as well as niche markets like golfers and “soft adventurers”.
Agents will also have the chance to experience Cyprus first hand if they enter a prize draw to win accommodation and flights. Agents wishing to attend should email [email protected] or call 020 7596 8800.
