Copenhagen is to be added to the route network from London City Airport.
British Airways franchise partner SUN-AIR is to operate flights from October 31 using 31-seat Dornier 328 aircraft. The airline will offer two flights a day on weekdays.
BA already serves Edinburgh, Frankfurt and Geneva from the London Docklands airport.
London City managing director Richard Gooding said: “Seeing British Airways launch a new service in their current network, in addition to the recent increase in frequency on their Edinburgh service, reflects the current growth of the business travel market and the high level of demand for convenient air travel.”
SUN-AIR owner and CEO Niels Sundberg added: “We have considered London City Airport for several years. We have just been waiting for the right timing and the right type of aircraft.”
