David Cameron to address WTTC Global Summit
Former British Prime Minister David Cameron is to address the World Travel & Tourism Council Global Summit 2017.
Being held in Bangkok on April 26-27, the event will bring together global leaders in travel and tourism with the theme ‘Transforming our World’ and with a focus on sustainability.
Cameron will discuss some of the key geopolitical issues currently facing the world.
"His international stature and first-hand experience of leadership on the world stage will bring extremely valuable insights to our members and delegates," said WTTC president and CEO David Scowsill.
"His views on the big issues currently facing an ever-changing world will be eagerly anticipated."
Speakers will also include Professor Ian Goldin, Oxford Martin School, Taleb Rifai, Secretary General of the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), H. E. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, Minister of Tourism and Sports of Thailand, Tony Fernandes, CEO Air Asia and Yuthasak Supasorn, Governor Tourism Authority Thailand.
The summit is being hosted by the Thai Ministry of Tourism and Sports and Tourism Authority Thailand and endorsed by the Royal Thai Government.
