Davide Loppolo of LATAM explains why sustainability is so key to his airline
LATAM Airlines has launched a new direct flight from London to Peru, part of their 12-frequency route connecting London to South America. Sustainability is a core focus, evident in a 93% reduction in single-use plastics on board, aiming for 100% by year-end. LATAM’s fleet expansion aligns with sustainability goals, exemplified by the Airbus A321 Neo, boasting 20% less emissions, CO2, and 50% reduced noise. They emphasize their role in fostering social, economic, and environmental development in South America, embracing responsibility in the region.
