Dealchecker appoints non-exec director
Travel search engine www.dealchecker.co.uk has appointed web entrepreneur William Reeve as non-executive director.
Reeve was co-founder of internet-based Fletcher Research and LOVEFiLM.com, Europe’s largest online DVD rental service.
He already serves on the board of several high-profile Internet businesses, including Graze.com, iAnnounce, True Knowledge, and Zoopla.
Commenting on his latest appointment, Reeve said Dealchecker’s “ambitious management team has identified some great opportunities that will take the business to a new levelâ€.
“After my introduction to www.dealchecker.co.uk in 2008 it became clear that their business model was one I could develop and complement,†he added.
The travel and price comparison website was co founded by Alex Saint, Troy Collins and Andrew Brendon.
It has grown significantly in the last four years and earlier this month launched two new search facilities for its holiday and flights search.
