P&O offers world cruise incentive for agents

Cunard Line has a raft of new and enhanced booking incentives on offer for agents booking its 2015 world voyages, which go on sale Friday. September 6.

The incentives include a new Cruise Sale programme for world cruise which offers a 50% discount off the deposit due on cruises of seven nights or more, as well as an onboard credit of up to US$50 per person, making it easier for travel agents to promote the programme.

Meanwhile, travel agents booking an allocation of 10 or more passengers will qualify for group rates under the Select Sailings Programme, including a five per cent discount off the launch fare in selected group cabin grades and up to US$150 per person onboard credit.

Royal Caribbean’s Singapore airfare bonus

Royal Caribbean is offering one-way economy flights from A$49 per person for those on Voyager of the Seas’ Singapore to Sydney cruise. Flights start from $49 per person from Sydney; $99 per person from Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide; and $149 per person from Perth.

The reduced airfare offer for Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth includes return economy class flights to Singapore pre-cruise and from Sydney post-cruise.

Rail pass discounts for travellers to Europe

Agents can pass on to travellers discounts of up to 20% for end of year rail passes for Italy, Switzerland and Britain.

Eurail Italy Pass: Rail travellers to Italy can enjoy 20% off all Eurail Italy Passes when purchased by October 31. The discount applies to both first and second classes. Passes must be validated within six months of issue.

Swiss Consecutive Pass Free Day: Travellers to Switzerland can enjoy a bonus day with a four-day Swiss Consecutive in first class. All bookings must be made by December 27 and travel completed between November 1 and December 31, 2013. Children under 16 travel for free.

BritRail Pass: Travellers to the UK between November 1 and February 28 2014 will enjoy 20% off their BritRail Pass when travelling in either first or standard class. Passes must be purchased by February 15, 2014.

Wendy Wu heads for the ice festival

The Harbin Ice and Snow festival is being held during January and February in 2014 and China specialists Wendy Wu Tours have a three-day package for this winter extravaganza in 2014.

The festival showcases blocks of ice carved into shapes of buildings and animals and lit with colourful lights. There is also the chance to witness winter sports such as ice swimming or ice windsurfing and view architecture influenced by Russia and Europe.

The package includes two nights’ accommodation at the Holiday Inn City Centre Hotel with daily breakfast, return economy airfares from Beijing, private touring with an English-speaking guide and transfers.
