Deep discounts and luxury sailing equal record bookings

Monday, 13 Oct, 2009 0

Why is Seabourn continuing to post record bookings? Two reasons are cited by President Pamela C. Conover:

(1) “The press, the public and the travel agency community have all eagerly responded to the launch of Seabourn Odyssey.”

(2) “The combination of the rave reviews for our newest ultra luxury yacht and our Yachting Collection Savings promotion has generated excitement both among our loyal repeat guests and from new travelers who are trying us for the first time.”

The 450-passenger Odyssey started sailing in June.

The company now has four luxury vessels that will be joined by two more yachts now being built.

Bookings are at full capacity through this year and advance bookings for next year are more than double this year’s pace, officials say.

Seabourn’s Yachting Collection Savings program offers up to 65 percent off brochure fares, which has led to historically low prices.
