Delta Air Lines beefs up operations leadership in New York

Delta Air Lines has strengthened its airline operations leadership team in the New York area.

Henry Kuykendall becomes senior vice president – airport operations, Northeast and will oversee operations at New York’s LaGuardia Airport and JFK airports, Newark Liberty International Airport and also Boston Logan.

Kuykendall was previously vice president – New York, responsible for all financial performance of New York routes and its commercial operations.

He also served as vice president – airport customer service at JFK.

"Henry brings the skills that are necessary to position Delta for continued long-term growth on a global scale, while also reinforcing our record of leadership in New York, the most competitive market in the world," said Gareth Joyce, Delta’s senior vice president – airport customer service & president – Delta Cargo.

Delta also announced the promotion of Stephanie Baldwin to vice president – airport operations, JFK.

Baldwin is currently director – airport operations, East Field Stations, and will lead a team of more than 2,000 airport customer service employees at JFK.

Baldwin previously held senior positions at Washington Dulles International Airport, Detroit Metropolitan Airport, and Reagan Washington National Airport.

Delta’s New York JFK hub operates 225 peak-day departures to nearly 100 destinations.
