Delta Air Lines suspends codesharing pact with Aeroflot
Delta Air Lines has halted its codeshare partnership with Russian airline Aeroflot. Delta ‘removed our code from Aeroflot-operated services beyond Sheremetyevo Airport and removed Aeroflot’s code from Delta-operated services.’
Delta doesn’t fly direct to Russia or Ukraine. Aeroflot is suspending all flights to Europe from today after the EU closed its airspace to all Russian registered aircraft.
Delta said ‘accommodations will be made for all customers affected by these changes.’
