The A330 aircraft is equipped with Wi-Fi and features 34 fully flat-bed seats in Delta One, increases the number of seats on these routes and enhances the in-flight experience

From March 25, Virgin Atlantic and Delta will offer up to eight daily flights on the JFK-Heathrow route comprising six operated by Virgin and two by Delta.

Meanwhile at UK airport Manchester, Virgin has announced its biggest ever season of flying.

Flights to both New York JFK and Atlanta have been upgraded and will now be operated by both the A330 and the Boeing 747, which has 455 seats and the largest aircraft in its fleet.

Virgin now flies to seven US and Caribbean destinations direct from Manchester, including new routes launched this year to San Francisco, Boston and New York.
