Delta bolsters UK sales team

Delta Air Lines has recruited four new UK sales executives to support its transtlantic expansion.

The additional staff join in the wake of the launch of flights from Manchester and Dublin/Shannon to New York and Edinburgh to Atlanta.

Lisa Aslund moves from Worldspan as sales account manager based in Manchester, Duncan McCubbin moves from Valley Vacations to be sales manager for the nothern UK, Peter Divers moves from GE as a lesiure sales account manager in Scotland and Alan Hunter becomes a corporate sales account manager in Scotland moving from American Express.

UK & Ireland regional sales manager Armin Venencie said; “With the launch of our new routes, it was important for us to expand our sales team so that we can continue to provide our travel agency partners the same high level of support they are used to.”
