Delta flight attendants injured during turbulent flight

Three Delta Air Lines flight attendants recently sustained injuries during a turbulent flight bound for Atlanta.

Delta flight 632 from Quito, Ecuador, landed at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport with medical personnel waiting on standby.

The airline said it ‘encountered moderate turbulence’ but confirmed three flight attendants reported minor injuries.

Delta said none of the 206 passengers were injured.

Turbulent instances are becoming more common, experts say.

A study by the American Geophysical Union in 2023, suggests turbulence is 55% more frequent than 40 years ago.

Earlier this year, a Delta flight experienced ‘severe turbulence’ after departing Salt Lake City to Amsterdam.

The flight was forced to divert to Minneapolis-Saint Paul Airport.
