Delta invests in air taxi startup Joby
Delta Air Lines inked a multi-year partnership with Joby Aviation, which will operate all-electric e-VTOL air taxis for the airline.
As part of the deal, Delta will make an equity investment of $60 million.
That equates to a 2% stake
Based on future milestones it could invest up to $200 million.
The air taxis will ferry passengers to and from the airport for Delta.
Delta hopes to deploy the Joby aircraft firstly in New York and Los Angeles.
