Delta joins Virgin at T3
Delta Air Lines has relocated its JFK, Boston and Seattle flights to Heathrow Terminal 3 today, where it will operate alongside its partner Virgin Atlantic.
From June 2, Delta will also operate a second daily service between Heathrow and Detroit from T3, in conjunction with Virgin.
The two airlines’ combined summer schedule consists of 32 daily nonstop flights between the UK and the US. Of these, 25 flights will operate between Heathrow and the most popular US cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta and Washington.
They also offer departures from JFK to London every 30 minutes during the early evening peak and then hourly until 22:30. From Heathrow to New York-JFK there is a spread of seven daily flights including two late afternoon and early evening departures.
These services are complemented by two daily nonstop flights between New York’s Newark airport and London Heathrow.
