Delta launching Hollywood Burbank flights
Delta Air Lines is adding more service to the Los Angeles area from its Atlanta hub.
It is launching twice-daily flights from Hartsfield-Jackson to Hollywood Burbank Airport on July 8, 2019.
That will make Delta the only airline flying nonstop between Burbank and the Southeastern United States.
It will take the number of flights from Atlanta to the LA area to 22 a day, including new service to Ontario Airport.
Delta currently operates 14 flights to LAX and four flights to John Wayne Airport in Orange County from Atlanta.
The Burbank flights will be operated on Boeing 737-700 aircraft with 12 seats in first class and 18 seats in Comfort+.
Delta’s regional brand, Delta Connection serves Burbank from Salt Lake City.
