Delta Queen set to sail again
The Delta Queen Steamboat Company released its 2006 schedule.
Both the Delta Queen and the Mississippi Queen will return to service in April.
The first cruise of the season will be a 7-night trip aboard the Delta Queen, leaving Baton Rouge, La., 12 April. After visits to Natchez and other stops, the boat will arrive in Memphis on 28 April.
The Mississippi Queen, which is celebrating 30 years of service, begins her season 23 April with a7-night Memphis round-trip called “Quilting on the River.” Stops will include New Madrid, Mo., and the annual Quilting Convention in Paducah, Ky.
