DeRosa Named Joystar CIO
Joystar Inc., a provider of travel services to the leisure and small business traveler, has named Thomas DeRosa as it’s new Chief Information Officer.
A 12-year travel industry veteran, Mr Derosa held various positions, including the design, development and implementation of all databases and custom programming for 1800/FLY CHEAP.
He has also worked on behalf of major GDS systems, including Sabre and Worldspan. His work with Amadeus, the largest GDS system in the world, led to the development of one of the first GUI CRS booking engines.
He will be stationed at the company’s new, Irving, California headquarters.
