DFDS revamps website for agents

The travel agents’ version of the DFDS Seaways website (www.dfds.co.uk/agent) has been revamped.

The North Sea ferry company claims to be offering a more accessible and user friendly approach to agents online so they can navigate the site and make the booking process quicker and easier.

All holidays, short breaks and crossings are offered to agents online at the same prices direct customers have access to, according to DFDS.

“Any bookings made are then directly attributed to their account meaning the calculation of commission is much more streamlined,” the company said.

“Furthermore, the site is now categorised into sections such as ‘latest news’ and ‘training and competitions’ so that agents can find the information they require effortlessly.”

UK sales manager Andrew Crowe for said: “We value the relationships we have with our travel agent partners. It’s important to work with them to ensure that we are meeting their needs. Therefore, it was necessary to reinvigorate the trade agents’ only website to make booking so much easier.”
