The Client
Our client is one of the leading 5-star international hotel chains. Based in Maldives, this luxurious resort is well-known for providing discerning service to its clientele ranging from CEOs to celebrities.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, your key responsibilities are to effectively manage a large team within Rooms Division and Front Office operations (i.e. Front Office, Housekeeping, etc). You are also required to ensure the smooth daily operations of the hotel, in addition to keeping service standards consistently high, adopting Best Practices, providing training, mentoring and motivating the team through effective leadership.
The Person
Degree or Diploma from a recognized institution
At least 8 years relevant experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector, of which the last 3 – 4 years must be in a managerial role
Proven leadership abilities
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
A truly “people person” who is an independent worker yet excellent team player
