Discover the World adds North Iceland Family Adventure
Discover the World has expanded its collection of Family Holidays adding a new North Iceland Family Adventure.
The collection now comprises three self-drive adventures, plus an eight-night adventure in Alberta, Canada available from summer 2023.
It has priced itineraries to enable up to two children to be included in the itineraries for no extra cost when accompanying two paying adults.
Flights are extra as well as additional optional excursions.
Taking advantage of the imminent launch (3 June) of the new direct Niceair flights into Iceland’s ‘Capital of the North’ Akureyri, the new North Iceland Family Adventure unlocks natural wonders starting from £598 per adult.
It features a range of activities including horse riding, superjeep tours, geothermal bathing and a whale watching excursion included in the price.
These latest adventures are part of a growing collection of trips offered by Discover the World spanning Scandinavia, Iceland, Canada, Alaska, New Zealand, Australia and the Polar regions.
Akureyri flights operate every Friday and Monday.
From September there will be an additional direct flight from Manchester.
The itinerary can be combined with other areas of Iceland.
Other excursions which can be pre-booked include horse riding and a guided Superjeep tour.
Flights are extra and start from £250 return with direct flights,available to Akureyri from Stanstead or Manchester from September 2022.
