Dolphin investment continues with 9 releases including 50+ customer requested enhancements delivered during 2009
The scope of functionality available within the Dolphin travel platform has been broadened significantly during 2009 following the completion of nine new software releases by Dolphin Dynamics.
With a new release completed on average every 6 weeks, the range of new functionality included over 50 customer-requested enhancements. As well as a number of new features introduced to further develop Dolphin in line with the company’s strategic product road-map.
The significant investment in product development reflects Dolphin Dynamics strategy of continuous development of its single technology platform to meet the specific business needs of tour operators, leisure travel agents and travel management companies – and those travel companies with a mix of business.
With enhancements introduced right across its product suite which now encompasses reservation, inventory management, mid/back office and online booking modules
Roberto Da Re, President of Dolphin Dynamics commented, “The travel industry is very different today compared to when we launched Dolphin 15 years ago. It’s vital therefore we continually engage with and listen to our customers to deliver the functionality they need in our fast-changing industry. Looking ahead we’ll continue to protect our customer’s investment in Dolphin by ensuring our technology platform remains relevant, up-to-date and a benchmark product in its market segment.â€
