Don’t like gas prices? Move to Massachusetts
Gasoline prices in Massachusetts are down another 7 cents this week, marking the fourth consecutive week that prices dipped, according to AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s June 6th survey found that the average price per gallon of regular, unleaded gas averaged $3.76, down seven cents from last week.
Gas prices in the state have dropped 12 cents below the national average of $3.88. And while locally, gas prices went down, nationally prices went up. This week’s national average is 10 cents higher than last week’s national average.
For consumers looking to pay the lowest possible price, the current range of gas prices is 46 cents, from a low of $3.59 to a high of $4.05, according to AAA.
There was no immediate reason cited for the lower prices.
