A landing gear door from a Boeing 767 fell off an unknown aircraft and fell into a residential area 12 miles southeast of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

Local authorities said no one was injured.

The part, a piece of metal the size of a refrigerator door,  fell in front of a home on a quiet street just before 7 a.m. on Friday, authorities said.

The FAA is trying to determine what aircraft lost the part in flight.
