DOSM (Based in China)
Expanding 5-star international hotel chain with aggressive development plans in Asia, particulary China and North Asia seeks dynamic individuals to join their team as Director of Sales & Marketing.

The Role
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin a must!
- Lead a team comprising corproate room sales, MICE, catering sales, reservations and revenue management, including Marketing Communications and PR functions.
- To provide indepth analysis of local and international industry trends and business environments.
- Manage businesses across all market segments, i.e. corporate, MICE, wholesale, T/As, GDS and OTAs, including taking on a key role with global RFPs and the bidding process.
- Ability to handle budgeting, forecasting responsibilites, implement strategies and formulate marketing / business plans based on market requirements.
- Proven, successful track record in being able to motivate team members to identify leads, business develop and ensuring lead conversion.
- Spearhead all key client events and tradeshows (i.e. PATA, CITM, ATF, etc)
The Person
- Minimum 4 years experience as DOSM or DOS with a 5-star international hotel, city destinations preferred.
- Mandarin speaking abilities a must!
- Overseas working assignments within the HOSPITALITY inudstry in Greater China required.
- Excellent presentation, communications and interpersonal skills.
- Culturally sensitive with the ability to work with all levels of staff
- Some experience with training and developing sales staff
- Ability to travel (intra-China and internationally)
