Double distinction for Palm Beach
Palm Beach was named twice on the “2011-2012 US News & World Report Best Vacations” list.
The annual list named it No. 11 worldwide for “Best Summer Vacations: and No.9 for “Best US Luxury Destination.”
“This unbiased acknowledgment is a testament to our destination’s ability to provide the best vacation experience possible, not only in Florida but worldwide,” said Palm Beach County Convention and Visitors Bureau President and CEO Jorge Pesquera.
Tourism officials say there are other reasons to visit there.
“The area is also enticing visitors with Road Trip Packages and Special Hotel Rates, which are updated daily. Everything from gas cards and extra nights to upgrades and additional amenities are included,” says a press release.
The Palm Beachs’ have more than 47 miles of Atlantic sand; more than 200 hotels, resorts, and boutique properties; world-class dining, spas, golf courses and shopping; distinctive attractions and vibrant downtowns; and an assortment of cultural venues, festivals and sporting activities.
