Dozen injured in TUI coach crash
A dozen people were injured in a head-on crash between a TUI coach and a local bus in the popular Majorca holiday resort of Costa del Pinos.
It is not yet known whether anyone from the UK was involved in the incident, which happened at around 2pm, but the Foreign Office confirmed no Brits were injured.
It is thought 12 people were taken to hospital or treated by medics at the scene.
A TUI spokesperson said yesterday: We confirm that a TUI bus was involved in a road traffic collision with a public bus in a narrow street at Calla Major, Mallorca, Spain, today.
"No TUI guests were on the bus at the time of the accident, the driver of the TUI bus was not harmed. The Spanish authorities are investigating the case."
The road was closed and two cranes were brought to separate the two buses.
