Dozens killed in Greece train crash
At least 36 people have died in a Greece train crash.
There was a head-on collision between two trains in northern Greece with one bursting into flames on impact.
There are reports of over 100 more injured.
Some were thrown through the windows of the train on impact
Rescuers searched for survivors throughout the night.
“It was a very powerful collision,” governor of Thessaly, Kostas Agorastos said.
“I’ve never seen anything like this in my entire life. It’s tragic.”
The Greece train crash involved an intercity passenger train from Athens which collided at high speed with a cargo train.
The crash site was 235 miles north of Athens.
