Dr. Fauci warnng for holiday travelers
Christmas travel is sure to increase the spread of the Omicron variant across the US, Dr. Anthony Fauci says. It will spread rapidly even among the fully vaccinated, Fauci told NBC’s Meet the Press.
"It has an extraordinary capability of spreading," Fauci said. He said it could have a significant impact on health services but it can be minimized with sensible socializing over Christmas. People should take precautions by wearing face masks and social distancing, and urged more Americans to get their booster shots as soon as possible.
