Dragon catches fire at Disneyland
Disneyland’s ‘Fantasmic’ show got a little too realistic.
The animatronic dragon in the show caught fire in the middle of the performance.
The Disney fire saw flames engulf the 45-feet-tall dragon as guests were evacuated away from the open-air performance area.
It emitted large plumes of smoke, which was whipped up by winds.
Anaheim Fire & Rescue responded and extinguished the blaze.
The dragon is supposed to emit a flame as part of the show but instead the head was quickly engulfed in flames.
Fantasmic is a long-running outdoor evening show at Disney parks.
Disney has announced all Fantasmic show at parks are now suspended while it investigates the cause.
