Dressing down for Carlson Wagonlit staff
Dressing down only on Fridays is now a thing of the past at Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT).
The corporate travel specialist has introduced casual dressing by staff every day of the week across its Australia and New Zealand offices.
The company said it has been working closely with employees “to understand what would make the workplace an even more engaging environmentâ€.
The overwhelming feedback from surveys and focus groups conducted was that staff wanted a more relaxed dress code.
Joyce Hegedus, CWT vice president human resources, Asia Pacific said, “CWT has been a leader in pushing forward with employee initiatives such as flexible work arrangements, including working from home, part-time work and reduced workloads over quiet periods.â€
She added, “The relaxed dress policy is just another way that we can create the right environment for our staff to work productively and comfortably.â€
